Instruction to Authors
Allied Sciences and Engineering Journal (ASEJ) welcomes the submission of high-quality research articles, reviews, and case studies that contribute to the advancement of allied sciences and engineering. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines:
Submission Process
- Manuscript Submission
- Online Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system available at ASEJ's Submission System.
- Cover Letter: A cover letter should accompany the manuscript, briefly explaining the significance of the work and its relevance to the journal’s scope.
Manuscript Preparation

General Formatting
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.
- Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spacing throughout the manuscript.
- Margins: Use 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins on all sides.
- Page Numbers: Number all pages consecutively.

Structure of Manuscript
- Title Page: Include the title of the manuscript, author names, affiliations, and contact information for the corresponding author.
- Abstract: Provide a concise abstract of up to 250 words summarizing the main findings and significance of the research.
- Keywords: List 4-6 keywords for indexing purposes.
- Main Text: Organize the main text into sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
- References: Follow the citation style outlined below (see section 7).
- Figures and Tables: Include figures and tables at the end of the manuscript or submit them as separate files. Each figure and table should have a descriptive caption.

- Disclosure: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest in a separate section at the end of the manuscript.
- Funding: Clearly state all sources of funding for the research.

- Originality: Ensure the manuscript is original and free from plagiarism. All sources must be properly cited.
- Self-Plagiarism: Avoid reusing your own previously published work without proper citation.
Peer Review Process
- Review Process
- Single-Blind Review: The journal follows a single-blind peer review process.
- Reviewer Suggestions: Authors may suggest potential reviewers; however, the final selection is at the discretion of the editorial board.
- Response to Reviewers: Authors are expected to respond to reviewers’ comments and revise their manuscripts accordingly.
Citation and Reference Style

- Citation Style: Use the APA (American Psychological Association) citation style for references.
- In-Text Citations: Include author names and publication year. Example: (Smith, 2020).
- Reference List: List all references alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.
